Tuesday, August 12th, 2014 was the big day! The day we found out if we were having a girl or a boy.
I did a poll through a Facebook to see what everyone's predictions were BOY OR GIRL?
I must say PINK won by several votes. Gender Reveal Story :
Since I will be 35 when I deliver, I was able to get a chromosome testing done along with a gender test. The results came in about a week which gave us all the information on our babies health.
When we got the envelope back from the doctors office, I was shaking with excitement that it was in my possession. David and I decided to do a private "ceremony" together to find out the results. We headed down to the Mississippi River, lit two tea candles, prayed and read Psalm 139 out loud:
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts oh God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand--
when I awake, I am still with you.
and then we opened the results!! We were like giddy kids anxious to open it!
A BABY BOY!!
My husband and I couldn't be happier about having a little boy on the way to join our little family and for Taj being a BIG brother! Seeing David's smile and excitement when we found out was probably the coolest, most heartwarming moment to date. Our little boy, without a doubt is already loved beyond his wildest dreams by us, our family, his super cool big brother Taj and the Lord.
